Poll: Fewer Americans Able To Tell Difference Between Childish Buffoon With Nukes And Kim Jong Un

A new poll released from We Poll You So Hard and YouTube shows that an astounding 85% of Americans cannot tell the difference between a childish buffoon with nuclear weapons at his disposal and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

Respondents said overwhelmingly that if they were shown quotes or threatening rhetoric from each man they would likely not be able to discern who they were attributable to without some more information. We Poll You So Hard didn’t just ask questions about the two men, they put their polling into practice and read respondents a few quotes from each leader and asked them to identify who said which thing.

“The amazing thing,” Henrietta Henri of We Poll You So Hard told media outlets this morning, “is that it was a near 50/50 split among people who said a quote was Un but was actually Trump’s, and the reverse held true. Half the people thought we were quoting Trump when we were quoting Un.”

Those taking the poll were asked if they follow President Trump on Twitter, and if they said they didn’t they were read a tweet Trump sent last night, taunting Un, just without any specific references to the North Korean despot. 95% of those were read the tweet could not correctly identify who the tweet was sent from.

Most respondents said that the rhetoric of the two men was so identical it was impossible to discern who was speaking and when. As a control, respondents were sent pictures of bags of manure and Donald Trump separately, without any indication which was which, and they were asked to identify them. The same 95% of respondents could not discern between the bag of feces and Trump, though once the bag was pointed out, many assumed it was a klan robe and chose the bag of manure as Trump.
