This morning, former White House Chief Bullshit Artist Kayleigh McEnany tweeted and quickly deleted an attack on President Joe Biden over recent reports of a 30% spike in the murder rate during 2020. McEnany retweeted an account that cited a Failing New York Times article that reported the massive uptick in the murder rate the same year that much of the country was on COVID-19 related lockdown.
The only problem? Her boss, Donald Trump, was president then, and not Joe Biden.

Never one to back down from a challenge she’s already lost, McEnany took to the airwaves of Fox News to explain her tweet, and to double-down on her implication that the jump in the murder rate was Biden’s responsibility.
“Well, of course the far-left loony Antifa George Soros liberals of Twitter mocked me for my tweet because it was technically incorrect,” McEnany spoke quickly, “however, I still stand by assessment of the situation. The simple fact is that anti-Trumper criminals murdered a lot more people last year, specifically to hurt Donald Trump’s chances and help Joe Biden.”
McEnany provided no evidence for her claim, but said she ‘feels it’s true deep down in the blackened lump of coal” she calls her heart.
“What else could explain the surge in murders? Why are the libs so afraid to hold Biden accountable things that happened while Don Trump was president,” McEnany asked rhetorically. “I can’t understand why my feelings shouldn’t be considered factual until proven otherwise.”
