I Run an Influential TikTok Account That Dehumanizes People. Why Can’t I Anonymously Ruin Lives?

The following editorial was submitted by Karol Markyshittz. Mz. Markyshittz up until very recently was the anonymous account owner of “LibtardedLibTardsofTikTok,” which has become very popular and influential among social conservatives, or “MAGA Americans.” The account’s sole purpose is to highlight and amplify content created by people she disagrees with politically in order to shame, humiliate, and dehumanize them. A recent article in The Washington Gazette unmasked her identity. The views and opinions expressed herein are those of Markyshittz, and not necessarily those of this outlet, its management, or ownership.

Normally, I’m a very optimistic person.

I have to say, though, that in recent days, my faith has been shaken — perhaps irrevocably — and I think we are headed down a truly dark path. If I can be unmasked by some reporter simply because LibtardedLibtardsofTikTok happens to be very popular among elected Republicans, who then use the content I re-share on it to craft laws that dramatically impact the public, then what kind of country do we live in?

Don’t I have the right to have access to lawmakers for the purpose of crafting legislation to my personal liking without the rest of the general public knowing who I am?

In fact, don’t I have a right as an American to use my enormous influence to shape policies that strip other Americans of their basic human dignity and civil rights without some nosy reporter telling everyone my name? I know it used to work that way in this country. Then we elected our first black president in 2008 and things just haven’t been the same since.

If you ask me, it’s completely intellectually consistent, and not at all hypocritical, for me to demand to remain anonymous while I publicly shame, humiliate, and dox people. It’s totally ideologically consistent for me to decry cancel culture and then try to use my enormous platform to get people fired, and in even more extreme circumstances, get laws passed that make it a crime to speak about their lives in front of children. Then again, to be completely fair, in 2005, I was diagnosed by a doctor with only having six brain cells, and a lot of people have called me “fucking stupid as fuck” my entire life, but I’m not sure why I brought that up now, so let’s just move on.

I will go to my grave believing that I have the right to publicize people’s personal content while also having complete and total anonymity for myself. You can call me a hypocrite. You can call me an idiot. But those are things I have a right to be in this country, libtards, and I will die in this hill defending those rights.
