The COVID-19 delta variant is raging throughout America, and particularly in certain vaccine hesitant communities. Notably, über patriots in red MAGA hats are among those who are most stubbornly resistant to taking one of the three currently approved COVID-19 vaccines.
Medical experts warn that if a larger percentage of the population doesn’t vaccinate, COVID-19 could continue to mutate. Already, the delta variant is causing huge spikes in numbers, and states like Florida are experiencing caseloads similar, if not worse, than they faced in 2020. In an effort to nudge Americans who have not yet been vaccinated in that direction, the Joe Biden administration has attempted to do several forms of outreach, into the communities that have shown the least urgency to get vaccinated.

Biden’s critics, such as freshman congresshorse Mango Craycray Greene have blasted the White House’s plans that include asking local volunteers to politely knock on doors and ask their neighbors if they have been vaccinated. Greene and her fellow members of the QAnon Qaucus have called Biden’s initiatives tyranny, but how do the American people feel about Biden’s attempts to get more Americans to take a COVID-19 vaccine?

I’m not sure. On the one hand, nobody is putting a gun to my head, threatening me with jail time, or really doing anything to intimidate me. On the other hand, that Dan Bon Jovi guy on Fox News really wants me to be angry about it, so I’m not sure who to believe.

Well, in school we’d teach our kids that tyrannical governments do things like strip people of their voting rights because they can’t win otherwise. Or they’ll put you in jail for speaking out against them. So yeah, clearly celebrities going on TV and asking people to get vaccinated is the exact same thing. Did I mention I recently had a lobotomy, and I feel absolutely Chicken Nugget-Batman about it?
