Trump Retweets Anthropomorphized Swastika

WASHINGTON, D.C. — This week, President Trump came under fire yet again for his Twitter feed.

In a still baffling development, Wednesday morning saw Trump retweet three videos from a woman tied to a fringe right-wing anti-Muslim group that purported to show violence against white people from Muslim immigrants. Dutch authorities quickly squashed the veracity of the most shocking video, one that allegedly portrayed a Muslim immigrant beating a disabled person, and White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in her briefing today that Trump was “elevating the discussion” of violence that she says is “very real.”

Despite even the British Prime Minister chastising his retweets of the Britain First representative, today,Trump again caused confusion and outrage with his retweets.

“This guy is friggin’ adorable,” wrote President Trump on a retweet he sent this morning.

Attached to the tweet was a cartoon swastika that had been given human features. Sources say the swastika is the character “Swasty,” and is featured prominently in neo-Nazi propaganda and occasionally in Republican fundraising materials in certain areas of the country. The account that originally tweeted the image of Swasty to Trump shows no identifying information, and goes by the handle @NoJoosMAGA, has since been suspended and Trump’s tweet was deleted.

“Look, the president was just tweeting out awareness for anthropomorphized hate symbols,” Huckabee Sanders told reporters this evening from her office on a conference call. “And frankly I’m insulted and so is every rotblütig American out there, that you’d imply something nefarious was at play simply because the most powerful man in the free world tweeted racist materials.”

Huckabee chastised the press pool further.

“I mean, when are you crazy, stupid, a-hole jerk morons going to stop being surprised by stuff this president does? He was elected for one purpose — erasing what Scary Black Man did for eight years,” Huckabee said. “President Trump was endorsed by the KKK for Chrissakes, so him retweeting anti-Islamist crazies and tweeting out swastikas should surprise NO ONE.”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was reached for comment.

“Well this is shocking, appalling, beneath the office of the presidency, inexcusable and just plain wrong. I am fully supporting this man’s impeachment and removal from office right now,” McConnell said, “Because Barack Obama simply cannot be – ”

Someone leaned over and whispered in McConnell’s ear.

“I’ve just been informed this was President Trump we were talking about. I have nothing to add. I am sorry, God Emperor Trump, and beg your forgiveness.” McConnell said.

This story is developing.
