If you were surprised when alleged Democrat and former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii announced that she would be speaking this year at one of the largest annual gatherings of conservatives, it will probably shock to your core to find out where she’ll be speaking after that.
Last week, Ms. Gabbard, who famously flamed out in the 2020 Democratic Primary without securing any delegates and then left Congress shortly thereafter, announced that she would be speaking at this year’s CPAC conference. The Conservative Political Action Committee’s yearly gathering has become the place to see, be seen, and find a room full of more teeth than IQ points if you’re a mover and shaker in the right-wing ecosystem. Gabbard, who has become a darling on the right because she’s willing to criticize Hillary Clinton, even with criticisms that don’t apply or aren’t based in fact, will add her name next to those of Sarah Palin, Donald Trump, and Matt Gaetz, all of whom have also spoken at CPAC.

Just a day after she delivers a speech to the conservative consortium in Orlando, Florida this weekend, Tulsi is going to speak at another gathering of Americans that is sure to raise a few million eyebrows — a klan rally.
“Look, the Democrats started the KKK, so all I’m doing is trying to bring the Democratic Party’s values back to where we might be able to attract some MAGAs,” Gabbard told Tucker Carlson last night. “Besides, I believe in being fair and equitable at all times. So if I’m going to speak at one pro-Trump hate rally, I should speak at them all, shouldn’t I?”
Before ending her segment on Tucker’s show, Gabbard offered up one more explanation for her decision to speak at a klan rally.
“I’m a piece of shit with absolutely zero moral compass,” Gabbard said with a shrug. “Duh.”
